- We have contracted to take patients to Korea 10 days after surgery. The first patient has returned from Korea and her recuperation is going well.

- When are the Mongolian doctors going to do this surgery on their own?

- The technology is deficient. Thus the Government submitted 600 million MNT for the needed technology. Mongolian doctors could start to do surgery, when we buy the technology.

- After these liver transplantation surgeries many people contacted us. The liver becomes chronic and hard after 10 years if the patient have hepatitis B or C virus of liver. Thus, this kind of surgery has urgent need in our country.

- How about the cost of surgery?

- These three surgeries cost 50 million MNT. The 50 million was spent only for patients’ treatment; we did not calculate salary and overtime salary of doctors. This surgery will be included in Health Insurance beginning next year; thereupon the cost of the surgery will be down.
