European films to be featured in festival

The Mongolian Art Council, the Mongolia-French Center, the Goethe Institute of Germany, and the NGO “Globe International” are holding the second annual European Union film festival in Ulaanbaatar from November 23 to 27.


Organizers discussed the festival at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade on Thursday. Films will be shown at the Black Box theatre.

The head of the EU delegation in Mongolia, the head of the EU delegation in Beijing, and several European ambassadors will take part in the festival’s opening ceremony on November 23. Movies from Poland, Germany, France, the Czech Republic, England, Hungary, Spain, and Luxemburg will be shown. Admission is free.
