Delegation from Chinese city visits Ulaanbaatar

Delegates from the city of Tianjin, China are visiting Ulaanbaatar. The Chinese delegation is headed by Hu Bun, the chief of the People’s Representatives Assembly.

Chief of Ulaanbaatar Civil Representatives Assembly T.Bilegt received the delegates on Tuesday. He noted that Tianjin has significance for Mongolia’s foreign trade because 90 percent of the overseas containers imported into Mongolia come through the Tianjin port. He underlined that Tianjin is the nearest seaport for landlocked Mongolia.

Hu Bun said the delegates will visit various districts and study their activities, although their visit will be brief. He said Tianjin is especially interested in cooperating with the Chingeltei district.
