DEFENCE MINISTER ASKS FOR MORE MONEY

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The parliamentary Standing committee on security and foreign policy supported on Wednesday a reflection of five billion 51.5 million togrog in the defence sphere budget for the international peacekeeping operations. The law on international peacekeeping operations says that, apart of the UN, some part of the expenses for the peacekeepers must be covered by Mongolia, moreover, this sum is growing along with increasing participation of the Mongolians. The Defence Minister L.Bold has added that a “Development fund' of the defence sphere has become weak to bear this cost".
