Mongolian and U.S. universities to cooperate
The University of Arizona, the USA, and Mongolia's University of Sciences and Technology will jointly implement a mine professional training project of “2+2”.
A rector of the Mongolian university B.Damdinsuren a head of mining and geological engineering faculty, the university of Arizona, Dr Mary Poulton had signed a contract in presence of the Mongolian Minister of education Yo.Otgonbayar.
According to the contract, the Mongolian University’s training programme is to be adjusted to those of the Arizona which will enable Mongolian students to receive two diplomas of the two universities and to become highly professional cadres for the mining sector.
Within the collaboration, M.Poulton will get au fait with Mongolia’s University of Sciences and Technology March 10-19.
