Citizens discuss National Security Policy
Participants in an open discussion on “National security and media” today regretted that the National Security Policy was not being implemented even though it was passed seven months ago. The forum was held at the Citizens’ Chamber and organized by the President’s Office and the Standing Committee on Security and Foreign Policy.
The National Security Policy calls for more citizens’ participation and wants citizens to have access to all information except state secrets. It also wants media to attribute sources of all information and more hours given to broadcasting matters of national concern.
