New CFO for Univan
Hong Kong: Univan Shipmanagement has announced the appointment of Jens Kier as its Chief Financial Officer.
Kier joins Univan following two years with Noble Group as General Manager for the company’s Mongolia operations. He previously worked for 20 years with A.P. Møller-Maersk. He was Managing Director of Maersk’s Global Service Centre in Shenzhen from 2007 until 2009. He then left the group to pursue an Executive MBA at Richard Ivey School of Business, Hong Kong Campus whilst doing consultancy work with various organisations in China and Denmark.
He started his career as a management trainee in A.P. Møller-Maersk in 1989 and spent two decades with the shipping company in Finance Manager and CFO positions in Denmark, China, UK, Saudi Arabia, Australia and Taiwan.
