Servicemen awarded state prizes
Ulaanbaatar, March 19 (MONTSAME) On the day of 93rd anniversary of the Mongolian Armed Forces, some military officers and servicemen were awarded Tuesday state prizes pursuant to a decree of Ts.Elbegdorj, the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Mongolia.

The Red Flag Order of Military Merit went to Colonel D.Batbold, a teacher of the University of Defense; Colonel S.Tuvshinbayar, a commander of the #105 military unit; Colonel D.Tsog-Erdene, a deputy head of the “Aldar” sports club; and to other four officers.
The Order of Military Merit was bestowed upon Colonel G.Osokhbayar, a head of the “Aldar” sports club; Lieutenant-Colonel M.Monkhbayar, an expert at the Defense Ministry; and other ten officers; the Polar Star Order went to J.Enkhtal, a teacher of the foreign language center at the University of Defense, and to other two, and the Military Medal of Honor—to 20 servicemen.
Moreover, military merit medals were awarded ten people by an order of D.Bat-Erdene, the Minister of Defense.


“One to one” business meeting to be held
Ulaanbaatar, March 19 (MONTSAME) A meeting called “One to one” for businessmen of Mongolia and South Korea will run on April 11, 2014 in the “Chinggis Khaan” hotel, Ulaanbaatar, the infomongolia.com website has reported.
It is co-organized by the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MNCCI) and the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA). The delegates from S.Korean side are expected to introduce their businesses engaged in several categories including blood diagnostic device (glucose tester in blood), skin care products, LED lighting and module, elevator, sand and stone classifiers and others.
As we informed before, the KOTRA opened its business center in Ulaanbaatar on July 26, 2013, with aims to fortify the bilateral economic cooperation.   



Stock exchange news for March 19
Ulaanbaatar, March 19 (MONTSAME) At the Stock Exchange trades held Wednesday, a total of 21 thousand and 502 shares of 18 JSCs were traded costing MNT 14 million 153 thousand and 589.00.
"Genco tour bureau" /12 thousand and 935 units/, "Remikon" /2,406 units/, "Hai Bi Oil” /1,494 units/, "E-trans logistics" /1,416 units/ and "Mongol savkhi" /1,300 units/ were the most actively traded in terms of trading volume, in terms of trading value--"UB-BUK" (MNT three million and 632 thousand), "Tavantolgoi" (MNT three million 319 thousand and 035), "Shivee ovoo" (MNT one million 482 thousand and 350), "Mongol savkhi" (MNT one million and 295 thousand) and "Genco tour bureau" (MNT one million 163 thousand and 100).
The total market capitalization was set at MNT one trillion 664 billion 714 million 211 thousand and 015. The Index of Top-20 JSCs was 16,588.65, increasing by MNT 128.94 or 0.78% against the previous day.
 

Judokas keep their rankings
Ulaanbaatar, March 19 (MONTSAME) Mongolian judokas of the national selected team were ranked high in the latest rankings of the world’s top judokas issued by the International Judo Federation (IJF) March 17, 2014.
A State Honored Sportsman and Olympic bronze medalist S.Nyam-Ochir is topping the men’s 73 kg division, keeping his previous points of 1,781. He is followed by a Belgian judoka Dirk Van Tichelt with 1,688 points. In this category, an Olympic bronze medalist and World champion Kh.Tsagaanbaatar was ranked 4th with 1,210 points.
An international master of sports and Asian champion D.Tomorkhuleg also led the ranking of men’s 66 kg division with 1,820 points.
There is no change for D.Amartuvshin, a State Honored Sportsman and silver medalist of the World Championship. He kept his 3rd place in the men's 60 kg category with 1942 points, being followed by a countrymen G.Boldbaatar (1,786 points) and G.Kherlen (896 points) who held his 9th place.
Olympic gold and silver medalist and State Honored Sportsman N.Tuvshinbayar (850 points) kept his previous 12th place in the men's -100 kg division, where Azerbaijan's judoka Elkhan Mammadaov topped this category with 2,348 points.
O.Uuganbaatar (865 points) was ranked 11th place in the men’s 81 kg division.
Among women, a World champion M.Urantsetseg held her 2nd in the women's 48 kg category with 2378 points, following a Brazilian judoka Sarah Menesez (2,436 points). In this division, G.Otgontsetseg was ranked 6th, having 1,017 points.
An international master of sports D.Sumya is on 3rd place in 57 kg division, with 1,836 points; and A.Tsolmon (1,220 points)--on 9th place in the 52 kg.
