Inner Mongolia Founds First Women's Rights Protection Organization
A press conference publicizing the founding of the Inner Mongolia Women's Rights Protection and Psychological Consultation Center, the first public welfare social organization for women's and children's rights protection in the region, was held on March 7 in Hohhot, capital of north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.

The Inner Mongolia Women's Rights Protection and Psychological Consultation Center was formerly known as the Inner Mongolia Women's Rights Protection Volunteer Working Corps, which was established by hundreds of lawyers and psychologists under the support of the Inner Mongolia Women's Federation in 2006. The next year, Inner Mongolia Women's Rights Protection and Psychological Consultation Center was founded and in 2013, it officially became a nonprofit comprehensive service agency, and independent legal entity, for the protection of women's and children's rights.
