New idea, new technology
The second international trade fair and conference for small and medium enterprises “Future Mongolia 2013” will take place from 19th- 22nd June 2013 in Ulaanbaatar.
Representatives headed by the organiser of the event Mr. Stephan Fischer and Christopher Roemer; CEO of London based “Ornstein Roemer” LTD visited Mongolia and met Mongolian entrepreneurs. They provided information about the preparation of the event.
During the meeting the general organiser Mr. Stephan Fischer said “The main purpose of the event is not only to develop the main economic driver mining sector but also to support other important fields”. The trade fair is foreseeing the sustainable development of Mongolia.
As the organisers said, the kernel of the sustainable development is to use natural-friendly technology and to remediate soil but not only to dig the resources out. The event also aims to introduce new technologies which preserves and reuses water and to develop renewable energy.
The students of The Mongolian University of Science and Technology will attend in this fair, and the trade- related experts will hold presentations.
We asked few questions from Mr. Stephan Fischer, CEO of VF Messen GmbH joint company of Swiss and German experts in the field of international exhibitions.
What were the achievements from the last year’s fair?
-I would like to highlight two achievements. The attendees could contact with internationally known companies. Moreover, Mongolians got acquainted with world known technologies.
What does the Future Mongolia fair aims to give to Mongolians?
-A mining sector is the sector which connects Mongolia with the other countries by now. Mongolia needs to manufacture inboard in order to make its’ economy more sustainable. The development of future Mongolia will be this. To do so, Mongolia has to use new technologies urgently. We will give new ideas and new technologies to Mongolians through the fair.
How are you foreseeing the Future Mongolia?
-Mongolia is a country which has a full capacity to develop. Mongolian Government is heading to right direction. There are tremendous reserves of natural resources in its soil.
