Standing Committee discusses diplomatic relations

On Tuesday, the Standing Committee on Security and Foreign Policy discussed establishing diplomatic relations with Malawi, South Sudan, and Samoa.


Members of the committee approved further discussion and decided to submit the issue to the Government.

S.Oyun noted that in the second half of the year Mongolia has intensified efforts to establish diplomatic relations with more nations.

Secretary State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade D.Tsogtbaatar said that Mongolia currently has diplomatic relations with 157 UN member nations and the ministry has plans to establish diplomatic relations with 45 more countries.
