ABOUT TRAINING FOR EXTERNAL COOPERATION OFFICERS

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ On Thursday, the Law and Treaty Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs organized a seminar for external cooperation officers and experts of state agencies and ministries.


Dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Mongolia's contemporary diplomatic service, the action has gathered some 70 people. They gained understanding about international contracts and treaties, their types, correct usage of international terms.

In the last 100 years, Mongolia has established diplomatic relations with 157 countries, has become one of the active members of the international community. Mongolia has joined more than 250 multi-lateral treaties, established over 800 bilateral contracts with foreign countries, and joined about 60 international and regional organizations as well.
