PRESIDENT VISITS MUSEUM OF ISLAMIC CULTURE

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ On Thursday, the President Ts.Elbegdorj got acquainted with rare collections, including items related to the Mughal Empire, in the Museum of Islamic Art of Kuwait.


This Museum has been founded based on private collections owned by Kuwait's authority family of Al-Sabah. An initiative about founding this museum has been created by the eldest son of Kuwait Emir, and his spouse, enriching the collection with new antique related to Mamluks and dated back to the fourth century.

Today, the museum with its 39 thousand antiques has become the biggest museum of Islamic culture and art.
The same day, the President visited the "United agricultural production" company of agriculture. This company plants tropical trees and flowers and breeds wild sheep and goats, ostrich and crocodile.
