EXTERNAL TRADE TURNOVER REACHES USD 10,271.2 MILLION

In the first 11 months of 2011, Mongolia traded with 123 countries from all over the world, and total external trade turnover reached USD 1,0271.2 million, of which exports made up USD 4,303.9 million and imports made up USD 5,967.3 million.


External trade balance showed a deficit of USD 1,663.4 million in the first 11 months of 2011, increased by USD 1,343.0 million or 5.2 times against the previous year.

External trade balance showed a deficit of USD 99.7 million in November, 2011, increased by USD 37.2 million or 59.5 per cent from USD 62.5 million deficit in November, 2010. Total external trade turnover increased by USD 4,849.4 million or 89.4 per cent against the previous year, of which imports were up by USD 3,096.2 million or 2.1 times, and exports–by USD 1,753.2 million or 68.7 per cent.
