PREMIER RECEIVES ITALY'S MINISTER OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ S.Batbold PM expressed a hope that a statement released by heads of the bilateral intergovernmental commission would contribute to the relations between Mongolia and Italy relations. He said it at a meeting with a delegation headed by Mr. Paolo Romani, Italy's minister of or Economic Development, on Monday. He added that is satisfied with the first visit of the Italian Minister to Mongolia. The Premier said Mongolia wants to develop cooperation with Italy in a scope of Mongolia's "Third Neighborhood" Policy. He underlined the Italian side has an opportunity to make investments to Mongolia in cashmere, leather processing, mining and equipment spheres, adding Mongolia intends to open its Embassy in Rome, aiming to intensify the cooperation with Italy. In turn, Mr. Romani thanked the Premier for an audience, and conveyed to S.Batbold a greeting from the Italian Prime Minister. Mr Romani said he is satisfied with Mongolia's intention to open the Embassy in Rome, and hoped it would significantly contribute to the bilateral economic relations and cooperation.
