Nagovitsyn said Buryatia is ready to work with Mongolia. He noted that meat products are imported from Mongolia, and that Mongolian organizations are investing in Buryatia. He also said a new cold-storage warehouse will be constructed for the storage of Mongolian imports, and expressed his satisfaction that Mongolian airplane mechanics will train in Ulan-Ude.
The two sides agreed to appoint a working group for improving border checkpoints. They also discussed ways to increase trade, economic cooperation, tourism, and educational exchanges. Nagovitsyn also awarded Batbold the highest medal of Buryatia.
