MONGOLIAN DELEGATION VISITING USA

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ T.Gantulga, the state secretary of the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry is paying a working visit to the United States to get au fait with the Commodity Exchange of Chicago. The Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry of Mongolia has been cooperating with the Commodity Exchange of Chicago since 2010. During the visit, the sides agreed to strengthen the mutual collaboration, provide by the U.S side technical and methodological assistance, and train specialists. In the context of the visit, the Mongolian delegation has get familiar with activities of agricultural entities of USA related to transporting and ensuring quality and safety of agricultural goods and raw materials. In June 2011, specialists of the Commodity Exchange worked in Mongolia to give professional assistance to state and nongovernmental organizations in providing preparation works for establishing an exchange.
