G.ZANDANSHATAR MEETS WITH FOREIGN MINISTER OF ROMANIA

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ Minister of Foreign Affairs G.Zandanshatar met Wednesday with Romania's Minister of foreign affairs Mr Teodor Baconschi in the UN Headquarters September 22. G.Zandanshatar expressed a satisfaction with activation of the Mongolia-Romania traditional relations, and noted that possibilities exist to cooperate in economics, mining and finance, and to make Romanian investments to Mongolia. He said Mongolia wants to train its students in Romanian universities and institutes. In turn, Mr Baconschi said Romania is ready to share with Mongolia experience in introducing standards of the European Union (EU). G.Zandanshatar spoke about Mongolia's chairing the Community of Democracies (CD) from July this year, and said Mongolia intends to closely cooperate with Romania within this organization. Then Zandanshatar invited his counterpart to Mongolia.
