Chairman of Rio Tinto will visit Mongolia

Rio Tinto Group’s Jan du Plessis, Chairman of Board of Members will visit Mongolia on 23-25 of September, 2011. His main objective is to visit Khanbogd soum of Umnugobi province were Oyu Tolgoi Copper and Gold project is situated. Jan du Plessis also works as the Board of Directors Chairman of the “British American Tobacco” corporation and Executive Director of “Lloyds TSB” bank. Jan du Plessis became the Chairman of Rio Tinto group in 2009.
