Authority Against Corruption forwards 29 cases for prosecution
The Authority Against Corruption has investigated 106 cases of possible wrongdoing through the end of August, and has forwarded 29 cases to law-enforcement agencies for prosecution.
Thirteen criminal cases have also been forwarded for prosecution, and five cases have been otherwise resolved. The AAC says it has acted on 334 complaints from individuals and organizations. Most complaints concern government bureaucracy, abuse of authority, bribery, and improper use of state funds.
