Kuwait, Mongolia discuss bilateral ties
KUWAIT, Dec 17 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti Ambassador to Mongolia Khaled Al-Fadhli discussed with Mongolia's Foreign Minister Purevsure Lundeg means of promoting and developing bilateral cooperation in all domains.
Kuwaiti Embassy in Mongolia said in a press statement to KUNA on Wednesday that the meeting tackled ways of promoting these ties and activating the function of joint ministerial committees.
The meeting also shed light on current global issues and common interests.
The Mongolian minister, on his part, expressed his appreciation to an invitation by Frist Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah to visit the State of Kuwait in the foreseeable future.
Lundeg has recently been appointed Mongolia's Minister of Foreign Affairs. Previously, he worked as National Security and Foreign Policy Advisor to the President of Mongolia. (end) nfm
