Smart City program to create a safe and healthy environment
Ulaanbaatar City Administration is planning to implement a “Smart City” program to create a safe and healthy environment for its citizens, improve the quality of life, provide state services to citizens in a more efficient way, and increase citizens participation in formulating state policies.
As part of the program, a professional and experienced team has been studying the possibility of implement the program in Ulaanbaatar since 2012, and have determined its potential.
Once the program is implemented, all information connected to state services will be available online. The program is also believed to improve the transparency of state services for citizens.
As the program will offer 24 hour state services from any location, it is believed to be one of the best solutions for the state to improve the efficiency of its service. Over 500 cities have introduced “Smart City” programs worldwide. Ulaanbaatar hopes to fully implement the program by 2020.
