HUBLOT OPENS 49TH BOUTIQUE IN MONGOLIA
Hublot is continuing its global expansion mission with the announcement of a store opening in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, which follows five recent openings in Hong Kong, Abu Dhabi, and Shanghai, Dalian and Nanjing in China.
Ulaanbaatar is the capital of Mongolia and business nerve centre of the country. A release from Hublot said. “[Mongolia is] a resource-rich country in the midst of an economic boom. Ulaanbaatar has enormous development potential for the brand and its products”.
The new store is Hublot’s 49th boutique in the world and the third in Northern Asia after Seoul and Ginza in Tokyo.
The store measures 1,300 sqft and boasts the brand’s black interior design with a polished stone floor, black wall coverings with a full-grain-leather look, furniture in wood and aluminium and fittings in glass and metal.
There is also a VIP lounge furnished with sofas, a library and bar. The final touch are animated showcases developed and designed by Xavier Dietlin, said to catch the eye and drive home the brand’s image of dynamism and innovation.
Ricardo Guadalupe, chief executive of Hublot, said: “With this first boutique, and thanks to our Mongolian partner Madame Darima Tumur of Chevalier LLC, we are proud to establish Hublot in Mongolia and I am sure of the brand’s future success in this country.
“This new boutique is a perfect reflection of the brand DNA. With its fusion of materials, respect for tradition, creativity and innovation, this exclusive environment will be the perfect setting for welcoming and taking care of our customers.”
The store will have a number of limited editions and will carry the entire Hublot range including the Big Bang and Tutti Frutti, King Power models.
