TRAINING HELD FOR JOURNALISTS

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The Office of President and the Open Society Forum co-hosted a training for investigative journalists on April 12-13.

The training was led by a member of the National Commission for Human Rights of the European Union, and by E.Maria, a project regulator of the Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights. The training has gathered correspondents from 30 Tv channels, radio and E-journals.

The trainees took lessons on reporting trials, methodology of writing about court decisions, on experience of the European Union and other countries in these issues, on human rights, freedom of journalists to express positions and views, immunity of an individual, on importance of getting familiarized with cases, and so on.
