MONGOLIAN DELEGATION AT UNCTAD CONFERENCE

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ A delegation headed by L.Orgil, the Permanent Representative of Mongolia to the United Nations (UN) Office at Geneva, have expressed a position of Mongolia at plenary and sub-sessions of the 13th United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) conference which kicked off on April 21 in Doha, Qatar.

The Mongolian delegation is also participating in the UNCTAD meetings of the Group of 77 and the Group of Landlocked Developing Countries, and is sharing views and experience with delegates of other countries at a round-table meeting on investments for governmental reserved fund and a conference on supporting investments.

Themed "Development-centred globalization: Towards inclusive and sustainable growth and development", this year's UNCTAD conference aims to conclude a present situation of the world's trade and development, to seek ways of overcoming financial and economic crisis, and to determine necessary measures related to a policy of sustainable development.

Within the conference, the 3rd World Investment Forum is running, discussing issues of strengthening investments for a sustainable development, of fruitful investments ensuring an economic growth.
