GENERAL CONSUL OF AUSTRALIA RECEIVES HIS EXEQUATUR

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. G.Tenger has underlined that Mongolia-Australia relations have been widening, and expressed satisfaction with a realization of a matter on opening the Representative Office of Australia in Ulaanbaatar.

The Vice Minister said it last Friday while giving an exequatur to Mr. David Lawson, the General Consul of Australia to Mongolia. During the ceremony, G.Tenger suggested that Mr. Lawson study an opportunity to issue visas for Mongolians through the General Consulate.

The Embassy of Mongolia opened in Canberra, Australia in 2008. Australia's General Consulate in the UB city is to be one of the three General Consulates of foreign countries.
