Newera Resources launches ground magnetic survey at Ulaan Tolgoi property in Mongolia

Newera Resources has commenced a ground magnetic survey at the Ulaan Tolgoi project, South Gobi basin in Southern Mongolia.

The survey will comprise 700kms covering the northern Ulaan Tolgoi license area at 200m line spacing and an additional four lines in the southern sector. It is expected to be completed within two weeks.

Newera said that testing the recent discovery of a black coal bearing sub-basin at the Ulaan Tolgoi licence has shown shallow, mineable intersections of black coal.

The company said it is using the same geophysical survey contractors who carried out the ground magnetic survey immediately to the north of Newera's Ulaan Tolgoi Licence, and the group that outlined the nearby black coal bearing sub-basin.Newera has coal blocks in Mongolia and uranium projects in the Northern Territory and Western Australia.
