Mythical Stage Play Dazzle Hundreds During Children's Day
Hundreds of children were invited to see the mythical stage performance "Journey to the West (Xi You Ji)" at the China Children's Art Theater (CCAT) in Beijing on June 1, 2014, or International Children's Day.
Two-hundred tickets for the play were given as gifts to children of poverty-stricken families and migrant workers. During this year's International Children's Day holiday, CCAT staged 51 performances across China.
The Chinese stage adaptation of "Aesop's Fables (Yisuo Yuyan)" will be held in Mongolia in the next two days.
