VICE MINISTER G.TENGER OPENS MONGOLIA'S PAVILION AT EXPO 2012

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs G.Tenger inaugurated the pavilion of Mongolia at the Expo 2012 International Exhibition which kicked off on May 12 in Yeosu, the Republic of Korea.


Mr. Tenger is serving at the Exhibition as the general commissioner of Mongolia's pavilion. The Mongolian exhibits show our nature and culture features.

Themed "The Living Ocean and Coast", the Expo has attracted 105 countries. Present at the opening ceremony were Lee Myung-bak, the President of the Republic of Korea; Ollanta Humala, the President of Peru; the Prince of Denmark; and other high officials.

During the Expo that will last for 93 days, each participant country will organize its national event. The national event of Mongolia will take place on July 3, as scheduled.

It has been estimated that about 8 million people will visit the Expo 2012.
