GENERAL ELECTION COMMISSION REPORTS
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The General Election Commission (GEC) is registering independent candidates.
As of today, the GEC has documents from candidates of the Democratic Party, the Mongolian People's Party, the Mongolian Social Democratic Party, the Conservative United Party, the Civil Will-Green Party, the Mongolian Green Party, the "Third Force" joint coalition of the Republican Party and the All-Mongolian Labor Party, and the "Justice" coalition of the Mongolian People's Revolutionary Party and National Democratic Party.
In accordance with the law, the GEC will make decisions whether to register or not candidates withing one week after having collected all the documents and inspected them.
