Bulgarian and Mongolian scientists to cooperate in making researches in Antarctica

Ulan Bator. The rector of Sofia University professor Ivan Ilchev and the director of the Bulgarian Antarctic Institute professor Hristo Pimpirev have signed a memorandum of cooperation with Mongolia in the area of education and science, announced the Bulgarian Antarctic Institute.

On Monday they were received by Mongolian President Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj. After the ceremony professor Pimpirev delivered a lecture, presenting Bulgaria’s activities in Antarctica and the joint five-year researches carried out by Bulgarian and Mongolian scientists on the ice-covered continent.
