INDUSTRIAL OUTPUT INCREASES 10.6 PERCENT

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ In the first four months of 2012, the total industrial output increased by 61.7 billion togrog or 10.6 percent to 646.1 billion togrog (at 2005 constant prices) compared to same period of the previous year.
This increase was due to 0.8-59.8 percent increases in mining and quarrying products such as copper, concentrate, molybdenum, its concentrate, coal, zincum concentrate, iron ore and crude oil, and 1.8 percent to 5.4 times increases in industrial main products of manufacturing sector such as alcoholic beverage, bakery products, sawn wood, bread, beer, milk, soft drinks, carpet, metal steel, metal foundries, electric wire, plastering mortar, metal sleeper and briquette.
