CULTURE DAY RUNS IN HONG KONG
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The Consulate-general of Mongolia to Hong Kong and the University of Hong Kong organized together a culture day to celebrate a first anniversary of their collaboration on May 22.
During the ceremony, winners of essay writing themed "Mongolia's economy development plan, tourism market" received awards. Present were a head of the Education department of Hong Kong, also director, teachers and students of the university of Hong Kong, and the consulate-general, Ya.Ariunbold, a general manager and officials of MIAT representative office N.Enkhsakhan, and other 100 officials.
It has been noted in all reports that this event is important in boosting the collaboration in education and culture between Mongolia and Hong Kong.
The General-consulate presented information about Mongolia and showed traditional clothes.
The winners of the competition, which was announced three months ago, received tickets Ulaanbaatar--Hong Kong--Ulaanbaatar, sponsored by MIAT Co LTD.
The university of Hong Kong and Mongolia's state university are going to sign a cooperation memorandum in Ulaanbaatar in June. It means that their ties will strengthen, and opportunities will be available to run scholarship and students exchange programmes.
