“Best Korean dancers will perform in Mongolia as I promised” claims Ts.Tsolmonbud

‘Chuluut Tsag’ newspaper informed that Ts.Tsolmonbud, the famous ballet dancer of ‘Lee Won-Kook ballet’ company in Seoul, Korea, is willing to hold a concert in Mongolia involving the best dancers of Korea. He is going to take part in the art concert for the International Expo 2012 ‘The Living Ocean and Coast’ which is being held in Yeosu, Korea. The event with 105 countries’ participants will continue for 93 days from August 12th. Exhibition on Mongolian nature and culture is displayed there and the events of the Day of Mongolia is scheduled on July 3rd. Below is an interview with Ts.Tsolmonud:

-I heard you will participate in the International Expo in Yeosu?

-The company I work for ‘Lee Won-Kook Ballet’ has performed a national ballet of the Korea ‘Chun-Hyang’ last March. Koreans know this national ballet as well as Mongolians know ‘Uchirtai Gurvan Tolgoi’. The dance is one of a kind as it was based on a novel that shows Korean heritage, traditions and culture and was specially choreographed in accordance with world renowned music composer P.I.Chaikovskiy’s sentimental melodies. I have portrayed a Lord named Byeong and the whole dance is being praised as a performance that carries both western and eastern classic art style. Within the scope of the Yeosu Expo this ballet is going to be performed on May 26th. In the gala concert on May 27th, I will dance as part of a ‘Don Quixote’ ballet.

-Are you still planning to invite Korean ballet dancers to Mongolia this summer?

-Our company is going on a tour concert in Italy and Romania this August and September and moreover we will perform ‘Giselle’ on June 23-24th in Seoul. So visiting and performing in Mongolia will have to be postponed for a while. But ‘NBA Ballet’ dancers will dance on the Mongolian stage. My efforts will finally be paid off one day.
