PARLIAMENTARY DELEGATION TO ATTEND APPF'S MEETING

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ A parliamentary delegation of Mongolia led by N.Enkhbold, a Vice Speaker of parliament, will participate in the 20th Annual Meeting of the Asia Pacific Parliamentary Forum (APPF).


It will run on January 8-12 in Tokyo, Japan.

This year's meeting will focus on the Asia-Pacific regional matters and on regional collaboration, politics, economics and security issues. Discussions will run dedicated to questions of alertness in times of disasters and on energy security. The gathered are also supposed to share views on aftermath of the tsunami occurred in March last year in Japan. Since the meeting is coinciding with the 20th anniversary of the APPF, it will update the Forum's concept and guidelines.

The Mongolian delegation comprises several MPs--D.Odbayar, a head of the Standing committee of justice, R.Gonchigdorj, D.Enkhbat and others.
