DP caucus rejects MPP ministerial nominees

The DP caucus on Tuesday rejected the MPP’s nominees for six ministerial vacancies created when the DP pulled out of the coalition government.

After announcing that the DP was leaving the government, DP Chairman N.Altankhuyag had said the party would support the MPP’s nominees.

Parliament has organized meetings of the Standing Committees on Budget, on Economics, and on Security and Foreign Policy to discuss the nominees for ministers for road, transportation and urban development, for finance, and for defense. But the DP’s rejection of the nominees could put those meetings in jeopardy.
