BIRTH ANNIVERSARY OF CHINGIS KHAAN TO BE CELEBRATED
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ On Monday, the State Head issued a decree to celebrate the 850th birth anniversary of Chingis Khaan Temuujin this year.
Accordingy, the day of birth of Chingis Khaan has been officially fixed on the first day of a first winter month of 1162 or the Horse Year in the Third Sexagenary Cycle. This day will be celebrated as the national pride day.
The President's decree is based on proposals from related working group and the Academy of Sciences.
