Wang Yi Exchanges Congratulatory Messages withForeign Minister of Mongolia on Twentieth Anniversary of Amendment to China-Mongolia Friendship and Cooperation Treaty

On April 29, 2014, Foreign Minister Wang Yi exchanged congratulatory messages with Foreign Minister Luvsanvandan Bold of Mongolia, extending their warm congratulations to the 20th anniversary of the amendment to the China-Mongolia Friendship and Cooperation Treaty.

In his congratulatory message, Wang Yi said, under the guidance of the spirit of the China-Mongolia Friendship and Cooperation Treaty, China-Mongolia strategic partnership has enjoyed a smooth development, with mutual political trust between the two sides constantly deepened and exchanges and practical cooperation in all fields further enhanced. China is willing to join hands with Mongolia, taking the opportunity of the 20th anniversary of the amendment to the China-Mongolia Friendship and Cooperation Treaty, to strongly promote the mutual trust, the in-depth development of practical cooperation, and to further expand personnel exchanges, so as to push for the unceasing development of China-Mongolia strategic partnership.

Bold said in his congratulatory message that over the past 20 years, the two sides have worked hard implementing the spirit of the Mongolia-China Friendship and Cooperation Treaty to promote bilateral relations and cooperation to a high level, and the Mongolia-China relations have entered the best period in history. Mongolia is willing to make joint efforts with China to push for the constant development of Mongolia-China relations.
