Stock exchange news for May 12
Ulaanbaatar, May 12 (MONTSAME) At the Stock Exchange trades held Monday, a total of 27 thousand and 736 shares of 29 JSCs were traded costing MNT 45 million 531 thousand and 904.00.

"Merex" /10 thousand and 390 units/, "Mongolia development" /9,552 units/, "Mongol savkhi" /2,400 units/, "APU" /1,322 units/ and "Remikon" /1,190 units/ were the most actively traded in terms of trading volume, in terms of trading value--"UB hotel” (MNT nine million 930 thousand and 600), "Mongolia development" (MNT six million 681 thousand and 680), "Gutal" (MNT six million 537 thousand and 200), "APU" (MNT four million 875 thousand and 550) and "Darkhan khovon" (MNT three million and 630 thousand).
The total market capitalization was set at MNT one trillion 606 billion 213 million 870 thousand and 493. The Index of Top-20 JSCs was 15,638.10, increasing by MNT 224.31 or 1.46% against the previous day.


Z.Sumyabazar and N.Nasanbuyan qualified for YOG
Ulaanbaatar, May 12 (MONTSAME) Mongolian young wrestlers at the national selected team were qualified to compete in the 2014 Youth Olympic Games to take place Nanjing, China.
A wrestler Z.Sumyabazar was awarded a right to compete in the YOG after winning a silver medal in the boys 76 kg category contest for freestyle wrestling at the YOG Cadet Qualifier held May 8-11 in Bangkok, Thailand. Another boy N.Nasanbuyan was qualified to participate in the YOG by grabbing a silver medal in the 46 kg tournament.
The 2014 Youth Olympic Games will take place on August 16-28 in Nanjing, China, in 28 events.
Apart of the wrestlers, Mongolian athletes for judo, shooting and weightlifting have been qualified to compete in the forthcoming YOG so far.
In the first YOG, the national team of Mongolia won two gold medals in wrestling and gymnastics events.
