ROUND TABLE MEETING RUNS IN NEW YORK
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ A round table meeting titled "Mongolia, the USA and world" ran on Tuesday in New York city, USA.
The action was dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Mongolia-USA diplomatic relations. It has been co-organized by the "Council of External Relations" NGO for information and strategic studies and India-Mongolia Society.
A first part of the meeting ran under a leadership of Kh.Bekhbat, the Ambassador of Mongolia to the USA. The U.S Ambassador to Mongolia Mr. Jonathan Addleton delivered a report themed "Political and economic development of Mongolia, and the Mongolia-US relations".
The second part was chaired by an Ambassador Mr. Lord and participated by Kh.Bekhbat; J.Enkhsaikhan, the Ambassador of Mongolia to Austria; and Alphonse F.LaPorta, a former Ambassador of the USA to Mongolia.
The measure has gathered 90 people such as representatives of state organizations, NGOs in NY, strategic studies organizations, permanent representatives of foreign countries, businessmen.
