Parliament discusses several draft laws

Parliament on Monday planned to discuss draft laws on Government responsibilities, on local settlement elections, on labor, and on automobile transportation, as well as proposed amendments to the law on local settlement assemblies, a draft resolution amending the 2012 budget, a protocol to reorganize the National Committee from Public Radio and Television, and draft rules to organize a lottery.

Also, the DP caucus will discuss proposed amendments to Parliament’s 39th protocol on the Tavantolgoi mining project, submitted by Ya.Batsuuri and D.Odbayar, and the manufacture and distribution of new electronic ID cards.

The MPP caucus will discuss a draft law on local settlement elections submitted by 11 MPs headed by D.Lundeejantsan. The law would hold the elections separately from the parliamentary election. The caucus also plans to discuss Parliament’s proposal to amend the law on local settlement assemblies.
