MPP FACTION'S MEETING RUNS

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ At its meeting on Monday, the Mongolian People's Party's (MPP) faction at parliament discussed and then backed a draft law on transferring some rights to the cabinet.


Then the faction considered as necessity to continue discussing of draft laws, initiated by some MPs, about getting rid of the gap in pensions. As the faction head O.Enkhtuvshin said, they decided to research into the law on the basic pension and to inspect related calculations.

The faction backed a draft amendment to the law on local election initiated by D.Lundeejantsan and other MP. The faction's position is that the local election must not be run together with the parliamentary election. “It will cause many problems especially with the procedure of approving the election results,” Enkhtuvshin said.
