KH.BATTULGA MP GETS SUPPORT FOR HIS DRAFT

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ A member of parliament Kh.Battulga has worked out a draft law on limiting a right of some people to take part in the parliament election.

It concerns those owning alcohol beverages and tobacco and for those who have been involved in drugs-related criminal cases.

Having the bill rejected two times by Standing committee, Battulga sent letters to all parliamentarians appealing to support him. Only ten MPs have agreed to do so--R.Amarjargal, B.Bat-Erdene, G.Bayarsaikhan, Ts.Bayartsaikhan, D.Gankhuyag, S.Lambaa, Ts.Sedvaanchig, O.Chuluunbat, Z.Enkhbold and S.Erdene, now all of them have become the co-authors of the fraft.

Inspired by such a support, Mr. Battulga has submitted the bill to the cabinet.

As the11 authors consider, their "creation" is to come into force during the 2016 parliamentary election if passed.
