JICA LAUNCHES PROJECT

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) has begun an implementation of the "Strengthening skills of internal audit, monitoring and evaluation".


It has been aimed to improve the internal financial audit in frames of Mongolian government's targets.

An understanding of the internal audit at finance, budget and capital in state organizations will be systematized, a middle-term strategic plan for financial internal audit will be approved, and international standards of the audit will be introduced. Expected also are trainings on the matter for general managers of budget in localities.

Experts from the JICA have drawn up a draft of introduction report for the project, and the project's leading council has been set up.
