FAO REP HANDED OVER LETTER OF CREDENCE

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ Appointed the representative of Food and Agriculture organization of the United Nations /FAO/ to Mongolia, Percy Misika handed over a letter of credence to the Minister of Foreign affairs, G.Zandanshatar October 5. Misika has thanked Zandanshatar for the "warm audience" and expressed a "readiness to strengthen relations and cooperation between FAO and Mongolia". Percy Misika is from Namibia. He has worked as a officer in charge of agriculture of Agriculture, forestry department, vice president and vice secretary of Agriculture, water supply, local development Ministry, Minister-counselor of the Embassy of Namibia to Republic of France, representative of FAO in Uganda. The FAO has rendered a humanitarian aid of 1.1 million US dollar to 22 soums of seven aimags during a severe winter last year.
