Students in 30 schools to be taught in Mongolian and English

Students in 30 secondary schools will receive lessons in Mongolian and English from the next fall when the Cambridge education program is introduced.


The Chief of the General Education Office of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science, D.Erdenechimeg, said the program is of world standard and is internationally recognized.

Work on the program has begun. Six priority areas have been identified, including upgrading standards of education, increasing teachers’ skills, training teachers, revising the curriculum in Institutes that train teachers, and revising the contents of text books.
