Seminar on administrative reforms to be held tomorrow

The Standing Committee on State Structure and UN Development Program Mongolia are tomorrow organizing a seminar on administrative reforms and problems. The head of the committee, J.Sukhbaatar, told journalists that representatives from the President’s Office, the Parliament Office, the Government and the Anti Corruption Agency will take part in the conference.

He said Mongolia has adopted several measures for political and budgetary reforms in the last two decades but little attention has been paid to reforming the administration. The experience of other countries shows that reforms in the three areas have to come in tandem to provide best results. That is why the issue is being taken up. The recommendations of the meeting will be implemented by the next Government, he said.
