Trade Union issues 12 demands

The Confederation of Trade Unions has issued a public statement jointly with public servants in the health, transportation, telecommunication, and oil sectors. It said there was no response from officials of the Ministry of Finance whom they had invited for the budget. The statement makes 12 demands, including total exclusion from the budget of the money to be spent by MPs in their electoral districts, distribution of cash to only those who need assistance and support, drastic reduction in the expenses of public officials, including a cut in the number of their foreign trips, increasing minimum wages to MNT170,000, and further raising the wages of lower-level public servants, beyond their 30% recent increase.
