Speaker gives interview
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The TV channel of the Lok Sabha (parliamentary lower house of India) has taken an interview from the Parliament Speaker D.Demberel in scope of his official visit to India.
The Speaker has expressed his thoughts on development of the democracies in Mongolia and India, on ways of boosting the inter-parliamentary democracy, and on his political career.
After this the Speaker has visited Taj Mahal in Agra city, Kolkata city, West Bengal state. There, he met leader of the state's assembly. The Speaker has got au fait with activities of a steel factory considered the biggest in India, and visited a house-museum of outstanding poet and Nobel Prize winner Rabindranath Tagore.
On Monday, the Speaker left for the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
