CPC vows to enhance friendship with Mongolian People's Party

A senior official of the Communist Party of China (CPC) on Friday vowed to enhance the party's friendship and cooperation with the Mongolian People's Party (MPP).

The CPC will further enhance exchanges and cooperation with the MPP, and strengthen mutual understanding and friendship, so as to consolidate the political foundation of the China-Mongolia relations, said He Guoqiang, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee.

He made the remarks when meeting with a MPP delegation led by U. Khurelsukh, the party's secretary-general.

Speaking positively of the development of the China-Mongolia relations in recent years, He called on the two countries to strengthen exchanges and cooperation in various areas and push forward the development of bilateral relations.

U. Khurelsukh said the friendly ties between the MPP and the CPC have played an important role in the development of bilateral relations.

He hoped the two sides would take the 90th anniversary of the establishment of both parties in 2011 as an opportunity to carry out more exchanges and cooperation and bring their relations to a new high.

He, also secretary of the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, briefed the guests with the Fifth Plenum of the 17th CPC Central Committee and this year's Central Economic Work Conference.
